Non歧视 Statement

Holy Family University seeks to foster an inclusive and healthy educational and work environment based on respect, the dignity of each person and the oneness of the human family. 美国宪法第九条.S. Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”) is a federal civil rights law that prohibits 歧视 on the basis of 性 in education programs and activities. All Holy Family University faculty, 工作人员, and administrators are responsible for reporting actions that violate the provision of Title IX. 性骚扰, which includes acts of 性ual violence, is a form of 性ual 歧视 prohibited by Title IX. 根据第九条, 歧视 on the basis of 性 can also include 性ual harassment which is defined as conduct on the basis of 性 that satisfies one or more of the following:

  • An employee of the College conditioning the provision of education benefits on participation in unwelcome 性ual conduct (i.e., quid pro quo); or
  • Unwelcome conduct that a reasonable person would determine is so severe, 无处不在的, and objectively offensive that it effectively denies a person equal access to the institution’s education program or activity; or
  • Sexual assault (as defined in the Clery Act), 约会暴力, 家庭暴力, or stalking as defined in the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).

Any person may report violations of the non歧视 policy, 包括 性ual harassment (whether or not the person reporting is the person alleged to be the victim of conduct that could constitute 歧视, 性 歧视 or 性ual harassment), 在人, 通过邮件, 通过电话, or by electronic mail, using the contact information listed for the Title IX Coordinator, or by any other means that results in the Title IX Coordinator receiving the person’s verbal or written report.
